Children are encouraged to share a range of books at home to develop a love for reading 

Reception

Children bring home a book that is matched to the phonic sound they are focusing on in school 

Children have access to an ebook that is matched to the phonic sound they are focusing on in school 

Children bring home a library book that they have chosen from the school library – they are also encouraged to read for pleasure using books they have at home 

Parents can upload a comment on Seesaw to let the teacher know how their child is reading
