Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr. M Copping, the Deputy DSL is Mrs S Spendlow. Our Designated Governor is Mrs. A Madden.
Our Safeguarding Policy can be accessed in our Policies section (Statutory Information Tab). The school meets requirements in relation to the Prevent Duty (June 2015), including a risk assessment.
All staff in our school wear ID badges, all visitors are required to sign in and are provided with either a blue ID badge (Full DBS and photo ID provided) or a red ID badge which indicates that the visitor must be supervised.
Covid 19 Update
Due to the current school closure, the DSL may not be on site at all times. The duty member of SMT will contact the DSL immediately should the need arise and the issue will be either dealt with remotely or they will return to school.
All pupils who are deemed vulnerable will be contacted by the school on at least a weekly basis.
